Default 'lo

Just wanted to say a quick 'lo while I get up-to-speed on the site here. I have spent quite a while reading through the forums, and they are very impressive.

So far I have spent alot of time laughing - especially in the product review area when I found descriptions that so matched feelings I have had about some of the lc stuff.

So, anyhow... HELLO!

Hi Biffy and welcome to the forum.

I see that you have been doing Atkins for some time as you are near your goal weight. Congratulations. Perhaps you can give other members the benefit of your experiences.

Welcome! "Lazy Atkins." Heh heh - is that the bunless-burger/muffinless-McMuffin diet?

Hehehe!

No, Its more like the I'm very very very good during the week and then cannot resist Sugary Daquiri's come friday night, so I have to be very very very good all week.

I fall off the wagon, get run over then climb back on

If I behaved more often I probably would have hit my goal a long time ago

I realized a few months ago that if I didn't do something I was heading for a weight issue that would be a monster to deal with. So, my husband and I started changing what we were eating. It's much too easy to grab those quickie bag dinners from the freezer section that are full of pasta when you are a 2-job couple.

We eating much more healthy in general now than ever have before. Just avoiding breads (read: breadings) has made a difference in what I eat on a daily basis!

I was definetly doing the wrong things. Chicken fingers & Fries were a staple. Now it's Chicken Breasts and Broccoli!

Thanks Donald!

I have been reading the website for quite some time as far as recipies and such go, but just happened to see the forums just the other day.

I also am very fortunate to have a couple of friends where I work who also LC and told my husband & I about it. It's great to discover together.
