Default a "balanced" diet?

From what I'm reading, you can get pretty much all of your nutrients from a few different leafy greens, and different meats. Aside from being boring, would it be wrong to pretty much just eat this all the time, varied leafy-only greens (different lettuces, spinach) and different meats that have some fat? What nutrients would be missing, if any?

Have you read any of the low carb books yet?

I asked you in your other thread on giving up fat, how old you are?

Are you really 5'11" and worried that you are fat at 133 lbs?

Hmmm, does this mean that you're not going to answer any questions?

Why would you only want to eat the leafy greens, just out of curiosity? Why not eat cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, sprouts, and the "fruit" vegetables (cucumber, peppers, avocados, tomatoes, etc)? These are all low carb, too, and nutritious.

Plug some of these foods into fitday.com or MyPlan to have a gander at their nutrient content, compared to the leafy greens.

I don't mind leafy greens, but I hate buying and preparing them. Other than bricks of frozen spinach, they're too much of a pain in the butt for me.

I was just curious about the nutrient values of the veggies... fruits just leave me wanting more and more sugar! And curious to see if anyone just kind of stuck to the same eating regime.... I usually stick with cauliflower, mushrooms, leafy greens, zucchini, and sometimes tomatoes! I'll go to fitday, thank you!
