Default A Gazelle in my back yard

Although, I bike and do gardenening, I rely on my gazelle contraption for stationary walking. My wife bought it on sale at Target and used it for a week and then forgot it. I took it over and enjoy it while listening to marching music and looking at the red rock cliffs of Sedona 15 miles North. I give it 30 minutes in the Evening at Sunset and find no boredom whatsoever in the time spent. One thing I really like is the low impact on my knees.

The gazelle at Target was under $100. You might look around for one at wall mart. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/prod...duct_id=1597237

Default Exercise for money and weight loss

Today I worked four hours on trimming shrubs. I get paid for this ,yet, the big payoff is the effort burns fat as well as creates earnings. Also my usual gazzelle 30 minutes gliding as well as 8 minutes of barbells reps. A good day.

Default loose clothes through prose

If there is any thing better for confirmation of letting go of fat
It's the feeling of looseness between your shoes and hat
It affirms in reality what you have let go of
giving obesity a much neede shove
So we continue with further positive actions
living and loving our body with many satifactions
This is for you although others look appreciativly too
A natural leaness and wellness held in a victory view
The image you hold within evolves without
making you want to give a hooray shout
This accomplishment one needs to appreciate Mother Nature
Spirit operates rightly as you cooperate and OWL you capture
The Universe moves true and concise
and let not overeating be your vice
Image what you want to be
It's a surety don't you see
So let's turn lead into gold
Keep on forever in the lowcarb fold.

Hanging in there with owl and evading the heat wave here. 100 degrees today so do my weights and gazelle at sunset when it cools down and early mornings tai chi chuan for 15 minutes. I find tai chi (moving meditation) gets me pumped up for right action in staying the low carb course. I visualize my body as I want it to be knowing it will be manifest in good time. Also will begin shot put and discus training once a week for now and increase when senior olympic track season begins. Addendum 08/01/2005 I did attend and participate in Senior Olympics and won gold in discus, shot put and javelin.

Default Track and Field

Walked to the local high school track and worked out with shot and discus. Lost five pounds of water which I quickly replaced when getting home. Early Saturday mornings ( 7 am) when it's still cool helps a lot.

Default Staying the course

I just feel so much better when completing my exercise scedule. The gazelle glider is a good workout at Sundown and then reps with the 25 pound bar bells. Four days a week, I spend three hours in the Early morn coolness doing yard work (hedger, blower and some weed pulling} The work is menial to some people but my attitude is such that I find goodness in what I do when it improves the world and my physical stamina and weight loss. My blood pressure is almost normal now (126/80) pulse 56. For a 75 year old that is good My real real goal is to break the shot put record for my age group at the next Senior Olympics.

Day three of 20 carbs or less and adhereing to exercise program despite hot weather. I do feel much better now than ever. I was surprised at dinner today by discovering tomatoes sweetness since I have been off sugar. I am drinking plenty of water and looking for shade these days.

Default 20 carbs

Day 6th on 20 carbs or less and feel great. Drinking a lot of water and scarfing down the protien. Getting more distance on the shot put and discus due to weight training and practice. I will be ready soon for the Senior Olympics and the gold medals.

Day 10 of reinduction and on 30 carbs instead of 20. Seems like I go over the set 20 carb induction figure by Atkins. I get hungry at 20 and feel satisfied at 30. Staying the course!

Default Free pedometer

I found a good web page for keeping track of your exercising plus a free pedometer as a reward. I like it.
We can all use some extra motivation to help us stick with our fitness programs and goals. Thats why weve created a WalkingWorks rewards programto inspire and encourage you to make walking a part of your daily routine for better health. As you track your progress, youll have the opportunity to earn rewards such as a pedometer, an exercise band and a T-shirt along the way.
