Default Madonna's famous seaweed tofu soup

This is actually a typical Japanese clear seaweed soup with tofu thrown in it but some British mag touts that Madonna and Gwynnie subsists on this stuff as a staple of their diet.

Ingredients
2 packets of clear seaweed soup ( available in Japanese markets or any health food stores)
3 oz of soft tofu (4 g carbs & 2 g fiber)
dash of brown rice vinegar or plain vinegar
2 C hot water

Enjoy. This also is a good source of carb free fiber.

I love this stuff. So does my baby.

Default Very mild tast with good texture

Cin,
It has a very mild taste not bland but not strong. The tofu gives it a smooth texture and the seaweed tastes very good...it's hard to describe because nothing else really tastes like it.
Next time you are in a Japanese restaurant order the "clear soup" as a side and you can get an idea.

Sorry I can't be more descriptive.

Nancy
