If you are one of those who likes to math your way through your weight loss journey (like me) I have the following posted to my journal:
I use a number of tools to help me stay on track with my weight loss journey. One of these is the Dr. Jan Kwasniewski Due Body Weight Protein ratios for best weight loss: C/P Ratio: .8 and F/P Ratio: 2.5 to 3.0
DWBP=Height in cm-100 (I am about 160 cm tall)
60 g protein (60 x 4 = 240 calories)
48 g carbs (48 x 4 = 192 calories) (.8 protein)
150 g to 180 g fats (150 x 9 = 1350 calories to180 x 9 = 1620 calories) (2.5 to 3.0 protein)
DBWP total caloric intake 1782 calories to 2052 calories

On top of that I include the Ketogenic Ratio:
Ketogenic Ratio (when ketones become really visible on a test strip): 1.5
The ketogenic ratio formula is:
(fat x .9) + (protein x .46)
(fat x .1) + (protein x .54) + carbs
Using the above protein, carbs and maximum fat, the ketogenic ratio = <1.9!!!

I'm not sure which source I used for the ketogenic ratio but it works. Google ketogenic ratio and you'll see what I mean...
So, for me at least, adding a tablespoon or three of mayonnaise helped. As I'm just getting back into LC WOE, I thought I'd share what I just figured out!
It really is about the carbs! But don't overdo the protein. And whatever else, take in enough fat!
