Week 1 Day 5: Am--Ramp It Up....I could only do the beginning of the tape and some squats and then I did abs. My foot was really bothering me (see journal) and if it feels this way Monday, I may have to go see the doctor.

Away for the weekend so I won't do the tape tomorrow...

Whew...lots of dust in here...have not been updating this thing and that has GOT to change!!! I have no specific plan I am following right now, just trying to exercise and get movin'!!

Hamtractor Machine

Leg Extension Machine
Right Leg only (did this b/c of my knee injuries...right leg is weaker so I am trying to work it a little more than the left)

Both legs

Cardio: 20 mins on the elliptical...burned 229 calories

My legs are like jello but I think that's a good thing!

Day Off (didnt want to lift this week a lot b/c of my basketball games on Saturday)

8-28-04
Hoop it Up tournament-- five 3-on-3 basketball games
We had a lot of fun but I was tired last night and I am still dragging today. Had to get up at 4:50AM, which meant I only got 3 1/2 hrs of sleep Fri night. As the day went on, I felt myself and my knees getting more tired. We had a great time, though, so we are going to try and do that every year!!!

Need to start keeping track of my exercise again.... I'm on a mission to lose 10 lbs and 8-10 inches by Christmas!!! That's only 3 1/2 months away!!!

OK....not really sure what has been going on with me. I have been making way too many excuses and finding things to do rather than go to the gym. Why the heck am I doing this? I like going to the gym...I like doing cardio, I like lifting....*sigh* No more sabotaging myself! I need to sit down sometime this weekend and figure out a plan of attack for the gym next week. I have one more week before my other job starts so I want to give myself a week of getting up and heading straight to the gym and then getting ready fro my day before it is actually the following week. This way I can tweek the times and see exactly what is/is not working for me in the AM.

Ok, reffed 2 1/2 quarters of basketball on Saturday and I am going to the gym tomorrow morning!!!!!!!!!! I AM I AM I AM!!!!!!!!!!

This is the week I get back on track!
