Default Red Wine and weight loss

It seems like the french and other European cultures drink wine and generally stay fairly thin. They seem to drink in coordination with sweets, bread, and cheese. I think it is due to the fact of lowering blood sugar.

I know some people were talking about the alcohol in other posts so, here is my say:

It seems to me that the red wine helped me out. For me anyway, it helped me loose more than gain. This was about 3 glasses 4 times a week. Just do not get drunk off of it! not fun!

You just can't treat it like beer or mixed drinks or you results won't be as expected! lol and that's not a "good result" expected.

And of course if you are of a legal age to drink!

Most any of the people including people from europe only manage to stay thin because they eat so little. Most days I would rather eat a little more and drink less. Though I do drink a little a few times a week since being in maintenance.
