Cool Glad I'm a turtle

I had see people who have lost lots of weight in less than a year. My mom lost 110, and a friend of mine (my age) lost 160 in a year. Both have very saggy skin. My skin fits me like a glove! I've lost 70lbs in two years. I lose about 2-3 a month.. if I'm lucky. Usually its a few months of not moving then suddenly a lost of 5lbs. I guess I'm a turtle with rollar skates then Also by being on Atkins for two years, I've learned most of my weak areas and my temptations. For example I gave up snacks, they just made me hungry. I also learned to prepare ahead for meals. But best of all, I think low carb. Someone will bring in candy or breakfast goodies and I don't even think about it. Its no. No thank you. Not interested. I don't even envy the others.

Losing weigh slowly really helps you see where you make your mistakes in and it allows you to get used to your shrinking body. Mentally this has been the best part. I'm not afraid of getting smaller like I used to. I think my body likes it for it needs to get used to being smaller. Well enough. I only hope you can see the positiveness of being a turtle. It makes things alittle easier.
