Default Hello All

I was on the LC band wagon a few yrs ago. Was working fine till I fell off...

3 yr ago I was diagnosed with T2 Diab. Been with the metformin & farxiga for that long as well. Went to see another doctor that is in the same office as my primary as my primary was out sick. He told me to watch a video by Sarah Hallberg. It was very eye opening. No one ever told me that this disease was reversible. Thought I was stuck with it till it killed me.

I then went on to listen to Dr Fung and his take on fasting etc. Well this put me on the band wagon again. Only this time to stay. At 51 I cant fall off. I want to try and keep my eyes legs etc.. for a long time. By the way, Diet Doctor is a great site. Check it out if you never heard of it. But I'm sure you all have

Since my follow up with the doctor, and telling him of my newest decision to drop my carbs he took me off farxiga and Lipitor. Hell yeah. I hope when I go back in April that he will kill my Metformin.

Been on the LCHF now for about 2 weeks. Started a lil slow but im down 22 lbs with more to go. I'm an kinda ticked that my primary did not go over this stuff with me. Maybe I could have gotten off these meds last year. So I guess I will be changing primary physicians. LOL

Diabetes is no joke folks. It really messes you up inside. The rate for T2 is rising everyday. And the predictions for future cases is through the roof.

Anyway, ill get off my soap box and go look around the forum.....

Have a great Day.....
