KT2Boys,
I agree about the alcohol. I don't consume the sugar alcohols but they say with alcohol, your body will burn the alcohol, and then the fat. If I feel the need to have a beer or Rum and diet coke, I have to calculate the calories or I will stall. I'm trying to stay away from alcohol as much as possible.

I stopped the alcohol 25 days ago and I think its making a difference. Better than that, I feel SO much better and have less cravings for sweets as when drinking (red wine only). It also broke the connection with smoking (also abstaining 25 days now). So it's been a very positive thing to nix the wine.

Plan: atkins

BF:way too much

Default I agree

I also cut out the sugar alcohol ( atkins bars very rarely) and lost 3 pounds last week, instead of the half pound I was losing.

As far as alcohol goes...I had three drinks at a freinds birthday three weeks ago, and actually gained !

I do not intend on NEVER having a drink again, but until I get a lot closer to goal, it justis not worth it for me

Alcohol and sugar alcohols do different things to different people...I am okay having a glass of wine every once in a while...but sugar alcohols slow my progress and give me terrible cravings.
