Goldseal Smoked Light Tuna Slices
Just had to mention my recent discovery of this product, found in Safeway in Canada. The tuna is a product of Thailand, but the packaging bears the name of Canadian Fishing Company in Vancouver, BC. I don't know if it is available at Safeways in the US or not.
Packaging consists of a pop-open "key" can similar to some catfood in cans, inside a box - 120 grams net weight, 75 grams drained weight. Depending on the flavour purchased, the 75 g serving has approx 150 calories, 18 g protein, 8 g fat and 0 carb. Flavours I have tried are "with ginger in sunflower oil" and "in sunflower and sesame oil". Both are VERY good, nice slices of mildly-flavoured tuna in a yummy oil, which I dump right on my salad..
Just thought I'd share
