Default VikkiJean gym log, water aerobics will get me there!

I joined the gym on Feb 3rd the same time I restarted Atkins. The gym is closed on Sundays so I can't go on that day so on sundays my house gets very clean. On the other 6 days of the week I do go to the gym so far I try to get in at least 30 minutes on the treadmill (sometimes I do only 20 minutes, it depends on if I get there on time) and I always do the 1 hour water aerobics class. I can't wait to get my first month measurements from the gym, I will get that done on Saturday March 5th so after that and my great workout I will be running home to post it.

I worked out early today, I did my water aerobics and my treadmill walk for 30 minutes.

I've noticed when I first started walking on the treadmill earlier this month my heart rate ( at my fastest speed)reached the 150's then the next week it went down to the 140's, now it's down in the 130's
does that mean my heart is getting stronger?

Does it mean I am getting in better shape?
I am guessing that is what it means, I don't know for sure but im pretty sure it's a good thing.

I have been busy latley so I haven't had time to post, I still have been going to the gym and doing my water aerobics ans walking.
Yesterday I decided to try the ELLIPTICAL TRAINER I call it the monster machine. I call it that because it kills me when I try it. I guess that just goes to show you how out of shape I am. Yesterday the longest time I could handle was 3 minutes LOL. Well I am bound and determined to take control of the monster. today i thought that I would go for 5 minutes on it. Well I did but when I reached 5 minutes I felt like I could go a little further so I stayed on for 10 minutes I was doing it kinda slow but I did it so for the next few days I am going to keep it at 10 minutes and try to work on my speed on it, then after about a week I will try to do 15 minutes. I am replacing the treadmill with the monster machine, while still doing water aerobics. Saturday I get my 30 day weigh in and measurements I cant wait to find out what they are and I will be posting it.

all of this is thanks to low carbing and going to the gym 6 days a week doing my water aerobics and walking on the treadmill.

30 days has past and my mini goal was to reach 269 by today. well I met that goal and beyond. I now weigh 266 so a total of 14 pounds lost
I also lost 17 1/2 inches and this is where I lost it...

Upper arm 17 to 16
chest 52 to 50 3/4
waist 53 to 46 1/2
Abdomen 58 to 55 1/2
Hips 59 to 56 1/2
Thigh 29 to 26
Calf 19 1/2 to 19

my body fat went from 47.3 to 46.9

now my next goal is to get to 256 by april 4th

ok the past couple of weeks I have only been to able to go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week. That is slacking off for me.

This week I am introducing circuit training to my plan.

so heres what I did this week so far

Yesterday 10 minutes on the monster machine (ELLIPTICAL TRAINER)
water aerobics

Today- 10 minutes on the ELLIPTICAL TRAINER 45 minutes circuit training and 1 hr water aerobics.

I will be alternating these 2 workouts throughout the week.
