Question % weight loss rule

Hi! I've been on Atkins for 6 days now and no obvious results yet. I want to lose 15 pounds and was wondering how come you only lose on average 10 % of what you want to lose on inductions? How does you body know how much you want to lose? Thanks.

Hi!

>>"...how come you only lose on average 10 % of what you want to lose on inductions?"

That's the $64 000 question. I think if someone knew how to make the body burn away fat as easily near goal as it is for someone further from goal, he or she would be rich and we'd all be supermodel thin.

The partial explanation is that we evolved that way. The body really protects its last fat stores. How? Not sure...
