I'm not from your area, and not sure exactly what kind of LC products you are looking for...I have seen Atkins products in the local Albertsons supermarket where I live. Maybe your regular grocery store has a small section of LC products, as well?

However, I have to say that those products (bars, shakes, mixes, etc.) are NOT the best way to do LC. Stay out of the middle aisles of the grocery store...shop the perimeter...buy meats, fresh vegies, cheeses, etc. Many years ago, when I first started low carb, I tried the LC products and mixes...I learned my lesson because they were expensive, not tasty, and made me feel blah. I do much better with "real" food, and you will, too!

Good luck!

Unfortunatly the low carb era is over. I think there are very few places left to find low carb products. You could try Neutron or a few other low carb on-line places. But the best thing is to learn how to make your own low carb alternatives. The recipe forum on this board has a lot of low carb subsistute ideas. What are you looking for?

oh, good luck! I was in Des Moines yesterday and was NOT impressed! I had a terrible time even finding a decent restaurant! Of course, I'm not overly familiar but not one person that I asked about good, low carb food had a clue where to go. I would check out HyVee's and stores like that. I know some of them carry low carb products.

You might want to try Amazon.com and the Carbquik site.
