Default Treatment 'to neutralise all flu'

Treatment 'to neutralise all flu'

Scientists have apparently developed and tested in animals a new vaccine that protects against ALL strains of flu virus. They hope to develop it as a nasal spray and have it available within 3-5 years. They are very optimistic of it working because it should work just as it does in animals. It's not not like typical vaccines, where your immune gets stimulated and creates antibodies to it. This is actually a virus but not activated, and is harmless when it is activated. Once you get infected by a new strain of flu virus, this virus that sits inside the cell will start replicating, and slow down the flu virus so your immune system has a chance before the flu virus even causes symptoms

Default I have a bridge in Brooklyn...

Funny. When I read the article, I see

"Experts warned much more testing was required."

Call me when it works in the FDA tests as well. In the meantime, I'll be betting on the side of the flu. It may not be smarter than most scientists, but it's way more thorough, patient, and enterprising.
