https://somedayilllearn.com/cheeseburger-pie/

Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef (we get ours from Zaycon Fresh)
3 Tablespoons onion powder
4 eggs
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup heavy cream
16 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

Brown ground beef and drain.
Mix in onion powder and a little salt and pepper.
Stir in 3/4 of the shredded cheese, leaving a handful or two for the top at the end.
Dump meat mixture into a 9 inch pie pan or any oven safe dish.
Whisk together the mayonnaise, heavy cream and eggs with a dash of salt and pepper. Pour over meat mixture and top with a handful of cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until bubbling. Take out of oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

I am making this Sunday! Exactly the recipe I was looking for this week. I'm making quiche tonight and I was thinking I wanted to find a "pie" recipe for the ground beef I just bought. Thanks for posting! The pictures are great, too.

It turned out exactly like the pics and DH is on his third
serving!

I made one addition which was to saute 1/4 c of onions in the cast iron skillet just a little before adding the ground beef.

So, it's a one pot meal from the stove into the oven.

For a side I had a box of fresh baby spinach so I decided to saute it quickly.
I diced a couple of cloves of garlic and sauteed in butter for just a second or two then added 2-3 big hand fulls of spinach. Add s&p and a shake or two of garlic & onion powder if you want.
Finished in 3 minutes, so fast.

This was definitely a 10+

I cooked this again for dinner and it is so good!
The trick here is that you pour the egg mixture over the top of the cooked ground beef mixture and it comes out in layers.

I love this recipe! Can also be converted to a taco pie, with some seasoning mix, hot sauce, etc. and a Mexican cheese blend instead of cheddar.

Made this just now for breakfast. So good! I used two marie calendar's pie sheets. Sauted some onions and garlic before I browned the ground beef. No other deviations from the recipe linked. Did I mention it's delicious?

that's 1/4 of a pie:
