of those of you who have lost a few stone in weight.

I feel the cold more now...but then I'm carrying round 3 stone less insulating blubber! I think it's worth it!

Oh yeah, I'm feeling it alright. We before I use to sleep with windows opened and a fan on now it's closed and off.

Bring on the heavy quilts. Buuurrrrrr!

It could also be a zinc deficiency. For that, you need 50 mg zinc/day.

Funny you should mention the cold - I was beginning to think I have thyroid problems! Last winter, I lived in T-shirts and had a portable fan with me wherever I went. This year, I think I'll trade it in for a battery operated radiator - and that's despite those wonderful (!) hot flushes that turn up at all the wrong times.

yes I feel the cold since I lost about 10stone 7lbs before I started atkins to get the rest of the wait off that wouldnt shift, I have lost my blubber that kept me snug!! lol

Apparently its natural, since you've lost a protective coat of fat and the chills will go eventually . I feel cold all the time now and last Christmas I was wearing T-Shirts!

oh yah! Since I flushed away my fat layer, I've had to re-learn how to dress. Mind you, now that the hot flashes have started, I'm often ripping off clothes like crazy.

Me too. I was always too warm .... never had the heating on , always had the windows open. Not now ... heatings turned up and the windows are closed ! ... I did wonder if I was going mad !
