Question Anyone use keto-mojo?

Wondering if anyone uses a keto-mojo to test for ketones? I just got one to monitor blood sugar and ketones. My ketones reading has been 02 the past few days and today was 03. Trying to figure out if that mean (point)02 or just 2. Seems like it shouldnt be this complicated so I'm pretty sure I've missed something in the manual here. Thanks in advance...

I think Thud does. Try looking through his back posts, or maybe drop him a PM to see if he'd mind you picking his brains.

This article will help understanding what you are, and are not, measuring. http://www.tuitnutrition.com/2017/0...ng-ketones.html

I use that meter and eat for therapeutic ketosis, not so much for fat loss. At age 75 I want as clear a mind as I can muster and pain control.

Osteoarthritis is in my joints and until recently I took no pain meds because the anti-inflammatory part of being in deep ketosis was enough. At present, I'm being treated for hip-joint arthritis pain with prescription-grade ibuprofen and hope it will be enough.

I can report that before I started eating to deep ketosis, my arthritis pain, especially in my hands, was excruciating. I'm so grateful that I'm able to handle pain in a natural way (most of the time.) My blood ketones usually measure between 1-3 mmol/L.

Thanks Glenda! So am I correct in reading 03 as (point) 03? I just am not seeing the decimal point so wanted to clarify with someone that I'm reading it correctly! It did increase to 04 so I'm hoping that I'm on my way to ketosis

The keto meter I have is the one pictured and always has as a decimal point in the reading. So 0.3 is minimal. My readings are usually between 1.0 and 3.0. Hope this helps.
