Default Proud of myself - resisted carbs yestereday

I am over 60, about 100 lbs overweight (ugh). Have somehow managed to lose 7 lbs since I started end of June.

I have an autistic son, extremely fit and wiry, who loves potato chips. They were sitting on the dining room table near me and I felt an almost overpowering urge to have some. I resisted! Can't believe how hard it was. I don't have the option of getting them out of the house so I have to live with this constant temptation. Hope I can keep going.

Great job!!!!

The more I read about autism, the more I plan to push my boys to keto. While Im not expecting a cure, there is enough evidence that diet can make a noteable difference. GAPS protocol. Will help me because I know I dont have your strength.

Kudos to you on resisting.

Good job!
The first three weeks of keto were miserable for me. I wanted everything I saw. Then it suddenly got easier to resist things. I started June 9, 2019

Buy some pork rinds to have when son is eating chips. You can make low carb dips too! My favorite is spinach dip.

re: pork rinds - get the plain ones and avoid any (bbq, sea salt, etc.) flavorings.
