Thanx Wanna...

sorry you didn't make it... maybe the meat fast would be better... least there is more selections...

Day 2 has been ok... only thing I consumed other than eggs is an ounze of heavy cream in a coffee ... but I don't think that will hurt me tooo much

as for the 1 lb... as nice as that was.. I have been up and down.. the same 3lbs so really I'm not any better YET... (possitive thinking)

If I can loose another 3lbs ... then I'm going to sing in the streets... as 163 is as low as I have ever seen on the scale... (today I was 165).... SO everyone... Please wish me luck...

till tomorrow... Shell

hi everyone,

been reading through all your posts re eggfast and wanted to start it tomorrow...though I have a question. Do you have problems going to the toilet with it because of the lack of fibre?

thanks for yr replies, just scared about that....can you add psyllium to your eggfast or is that a no no?

cheers,
cathie

Talking Day 3

W0o0o0oH0o0o0o day 3 and I'm down a total of 3 lbs now... and at the lowest weight my scale has recorded *163* so anything more lost will be all NEW GROUND.... have a sneek'n suspition... you see me sing'n and dancing in the streets tomorrow as promised in my prior post.... LOL

As far as the *washroom* thing... personally I have had NO problems... Hope this helps...

It's a little hard to eat nothing but eggs for the time... but in my mind... it's worth It... Heck... I could even do four days if need be....

catch ya all later...

Incredible Edible Egg!! LOL

I basically ran out of money for food the past week and had to eat eggs for most of my meals and boy does it make the scale go down!! Sometimes being poor isn't all that bad! LOL

I can definitely do eggs for three days, no problem. I am at the point now where I crave egg salad something awful!

Talking LOL

Well Cindy... I take my hat off to you.... after 3 days of EGGO'ramma... I don't think I'll be able to eat any... any time soon...

But really... 3 days isn't toooo bad.... if it would be longer... I think you'd get to the point where you couldn't ever eat eggs... and that would be a shame as its a staple in the Atkins WOL

I never did Egg salad... but I did make Devil'd eggs... fryed and scrambled... *some times with a teaspoon of salsa.. and then I tryed with a bit of lc ranch... And Wow... IT WAS GOOD... just added it... when the scrambled eggs were about 2'3rds cooked..

well coffee is call'n my name... ttfn... Shell

Sorry I was away for a few days, which made the experience a little more challenging.....but I managed to have fried eggs at a restaurant on my trip and brought some boild eggs with me...I cant belive how quickly I went into ketosis...I think by tuesday it was full fledge purple sticks. ANDDDDDD today I jumped on the scale and I'm down 3 lbs in total...I'm going to continue through the weekend and see how I weigh in on Monday. What else, I'm not hungry at all and I use carb options ketchup on my fried eggs, all I'm drinking is green tea with a cinnamon stick in it and water...lots of water. I'll keep you posted...talk to you Monday!!!!!!!!!!

well its saturday and I'm going to do induction until Monday and then resume with egg fast for three days. I wont be weighing in again until March 25, because TOM is rapidly aproaching and I never weigh a week before or after TOM. I'll keep you posted.

Fatnewmom--I would say yes it did break my stall as I did lose 3 pounds. We'll see if they stay off now. Talk to you soon.
