Thumbs up Best Cheese Cake (freezes well)

2- 8 ozs. Cream Cheese
3 eggs
1/2 cup Splenda
Beat Cream Cheese til soft and creamy. Add eggs and Splenda. Pour into buttered (8-9in) pie plate
Bake 30 minutes at 325 until light in color and cracked on top. Remove from oven and set out.
Just this part is a total of 35-1/2 carbs for the whole cake...cut in into 10 slices is only 3-1/2 carbs each...like I said freezes well...

this topping goes excellent on it...when it is out of the oven 20 minutes do the following...
Mix 1 pint sour cream
3T. Splenda
1teas. vanilla
Mix well and pour on top of cake
Bake again for 15-20 minutes at 325
A silver a day is enough to keep the blues away...
Sour Cream 1 pt. 30 carbs
Splenda 3 carbs
vanilla none...total 33
If you use this it makes the cake 68 1/2 carbs cut into 12 slices...5.6 carbs...

This sounds so simple and good! Guess what I am going to make this weekend. Thanx for the recipe.

Thanks, lubajo. Just made it (without the topping) and it came out great.

I made this tonight using granular splenda and without the topping. I also added vanilla like leah. Very nice and lots of it stored in the freezer for future deserts!
