Talking Awesome Chocolate Mousse

It couldn't be easier!!!

1 2.1 oz box Fat Free Sugar Free Chocolate pudding (I used Jello)
1 3/4 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
3/4 c. cold water
Put into mixing bowl and whip to desired consistency. Can be served as a mousse or as a parfait with layers of whipped cream sweetened with splenda inbetween.
I refrigerated mine, but I thought it was too thick, so I won't refrigerate next time.

You'll love it!!!

oooh! i've made this before- it IS good!
and, for peanut butter lovers, one tbsp of peanut butter mixed in (per batch) really changes the flavor. (it does add about 5 carbs though, per whole batch)

also, i bet it would be great with raspberries.
i also like mine frozen- it has a similar consistency to a fudgesicle.

FabMarta,
I have the same recipe only I copied it from a different web site. The total carbs for it were 2g carbs & I know that is wrong. When I added, it came to somewhere around 7g carbs--I believe--I don't have all the ingredients in front of me so I'm not sure--Anyway what did you get for a carb count?

Default Instant Chocolate Mousse

Buy a whipped cream maker. Mine is 1 pint from iSi.

Put in the whipped cream maker:
(Put the mix in a separate cup first and sweeten to taste - the first time.)

Chocolate:
1 cup whipping cream
2 to 4 tsp splenda or equivalent (you may like it sweeter)
3 tsp cocoa powder (check to see that it does not contain sugar)
1/4 tsp vanilla

Raspberry (great on sugar free jello):

1 cup whipping cream
1/8 to 1/4 cup sugar free raspberry flavored syrup

Yogurt Mousse

One small cup of any flavor of low carb yogurt you like
1/2 cup whipping cream
splenda to taste
vanilla (if appropriate)

General recipe:

Mix anything you like as long as at least 1/2 of the liquid is whipping cream and all the ingredients are finely ground (not chunky).

Put on lid. Charge with one N20 charger per instructions.

Squirt in parfait dish and enjoy. The unused portion will keep at least a few days.

7 carbs for 1 cup whipping cream and the carbs for cocoa vary. It makes a lot of mousse - 4 or more servings.
