I have been on a low dose of a statin for years, not for high cholesterol, but for
afib. The dosage was recently increased and my cholestrol dropped from 170 to 128. My pcp is fine with that but it seems low to me. Any Opinions?

If you are dealing with AFib, I would ask a Cardiologist.
Have you ever consulted with Dr Eric Thorn, a low carb cardiologist in Virginia? here is the basic contact info:

There are five interviews with him about keto and heart disease on the Adapt Your Life YT channel from about five years ago.

JEY100 -
Thanks for the reply. My cardiologist is Christopher Granger at Duke.I know you are familiar with the Duke Health system. The problem is cardiologists just love statins. I take them just for the afib along with two blood pressure meds, even though I have never had hypertension or high cholesterol. That program has worked as I have had afib for over twenty five years with no problems, but some of the numbers in the bloodwork are out of the norm to me.
