Default Protein focused weight loss books?

Anyone have any suggestions for a book that emphasizes protein for weight loss?

The one and only ...The P:E Diet by Dr Naiman.
The $20 Kindle version works well on my iPad...has theory, foods, exercise, everything.

In the semi-LC section, both a long thread about PE and the related program, Data Driven Fasting. https://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=138

For only Weight Loss, Dr Naiman added a little website that focuses on lowering the energy, so using leaner cuts of meat, more fish etc.
This also has enough about the foods to eat for weight loss.
https://www.lowenergydiet.com/ Look at the Tips tab, those are the high protein percentage meals I have used since August.

What Marty Kendall and now DietDoctor are recommending for people coming from a moderate protein, low carb diet is to adjust gradually. Your body would fight going from say 80g to 132g protein. Marty’s calculator has more options to refine the result, and even so, protein % is a minimum, C and F are maximums. Marty's calculator is just right for me, while that abbreviated one on Ted Naiman's page is wildly high, proportional to your results. At 5’9”, 172 g of protein! No way.

I did not use any macros, nor track foods except to always prioritize protein and fiber. To keep it simple while also doing Data Driven Fasting, I ate the meals under the Tip Tab on the LowEnergy website. Eggs, egg whites, chicken, fish, meat, all with lots of vegetables, plus low fat yogurt and protein powder. Nuts and cheese and refined oils are on the Energy side of the spectrum of foods, so they were reduced or eliminated for weight loss. If you eat nutrient dense foods, not necessary to track macros, but Marty Kendall's is a better start point. He suggests a minimum of 15% carbs from vegetables and some fermented dairy to get enough micronutrients and fiber.

Even though they're a bit dated now, I recommend Protein Power and Protein Power Lifeplan, both by Drs. Mike and Mary Dan Eades.

I don't remember much about PPL, but PP is not lower fat. In the book, he doesn't recommend adding a lot of extra fat but he is very much a proponent of allowing the fat that comes with your protein to do its highly important work. Any flavor enhancement that is inherent to a recipe or whatever, should be fat or spice based, but not in terms of slathering on butter, etc.

PP is actually one of the most easily understood explanations of the science underlying the lc plan that I've ever read. It was my introduction to low carb dieting and I read it in 1999. I lost about seventy pounds from mid May to early November. I went from a very tight women's size 16 to a boys 32 jeans. My 14 year old son left his jeans in the hotel room when he flew home from the first leg of his birthday/our anniversary trip. I was 39 and I think that was a spectacular testimony for his plan.

The Protein Power books are based on Moderate Fat, Adequate Protein, and Low Carbs.

Sharing that I find experimentation is how we get our own n = 1.

I need a lot of protein and that is still key to my satiety and success.

You might not!
