Cyanide Toxicity of Freshly Prepared Smoothies and Juices Frequently Consumed

Unpasteurized almond milk and raw flax seeds were the major sources of TCN in drinks. With the increased demand for raw and natural foods, there is a potential sublethal exposure of TCN by consumers.

But cassava, which I've seen popping up in SNACK foods, means we might be dealing with something that can get actually lethal.

I avoid flaxseeds now, but when I ate them my cheeks would flush within minutes of consuming them - round, red splotches like clown makeup. I'm quite "lucky" that I flush or get hives from many anti-nutrients so I can stop eating them before they can cause much damage. This is why I prepare 99% of my food from single real-food ingredients at home.

Likewise, I had my rosacea, which calmed down and disappeared when I paid attention to seed oils. The first indicator that good fats made a dramatic difference.

Youtube video: Here's Dr. Ken Berry, MD, talking to Dr. Georgia Ede, MD, about her new book. Lots of great info on the downsides of medications, and the difficulty of tapering off.

Which they got zero training on.

Best Diet to Improve Mental Health with Dr. Georgia Ede

I was on Welbutrin for nerve pain (shingles) for months, and then was looking at an even longer taper-off schedule. I used magnesium and did it in weeks, not months.

And I'm glad I did. I never experienced such a deep and terrible depression, fortunately caused by the drug withdrawal, and I'm glad that's over.
