Default Can you have bacon on the meat and egg fast?

Just wondering....I am not sure it would be considered "meat".

Thanks

Bacon is meat, it's a particular cut from a pig, near the rib area, if I recall correctly from the Good Eats episode that dealt with pork.

Heh! I can't answer that question. There are additives to most of it including maple syrup and sugar and stuff. However if you go to a natural food store you should be able to find it without that stuff.

Yeah, Alton Brown is really entertaining. And very informative.

I know I say this a lot, but... there is no "THE" meat and egg fast; it's not a part of any recognized LC plan, so there really are no rules.

I am sorry if I offended you Kristine... know that there is no specific meat and egg fast, I guess it was just a matter of symantics. I just wanted to know the answer to my question and while I do appriciate your opinion, I would really like to know the answer...

Thanks again.
