There is ALA and there is ALA. I'm being serious too:
ALA - Alpha-Linolenic Acid
ALA - Alpha Lipoic Acid
You want Alpha Lipoic Acid, I think its main thing is to facilitate the transition of blood sugar into skelatal muscle as opposed to adipose tissue. I'm sure this is a crappy explanation, but dan will be able to expand and correct. Just make sure you get Alpha Lipoic Acid!
Funny taste and no appetite are good signs, but remember if you're drinking heaps of water, the ketones may be so diluted that you will get a negative on your ketostix!
Dan, I remember reading somewhere, that excess water consumtion on a keto diet can adversly affect fat loss! I doubt it, but have you heard this before?
