Default Force carbs?

Hiya, folks,

I'm having to ask a question I never, EVER thought I would have to ask.....

This week's carb up was such a downer for me. I didn't want any of the foods, whether wholesome or junk (and I made sure to try both. Science, you know! ), and I missed my proteins and fats. I also got totally nuked by a carb coma for the first time. Slept like a rock for 12 hrs straight and still felt foggy and nappish during the day.

So, should I force feed the carbs? I still like the taste of fruit, and I could probably convince myself to have some spicy Chinese, but really, I'm finding the carb foods so boring and unappealing that I feel like the kid at dinner who's not allowed to leave the table until she eats her carbs, er - peas.

How much can I rely on drinks?

Thanks,

Friday

I know what you mean. I had a little trouble at first. I'm in such a routine now after LC'ing for so long.

I tried Dan's suggestion of drinking the carbs and it works pretty good. I don't feel so guilty. Try some 10k, poweraid or gatoraide any sport drink with lots of carbs. I just drink them instead of water on carbup days.

I here ya, Its not that you get sick of carb, its that you get sick from them. With lots of practice it gets better.
Is it me or does it seem like more people have trouble with the carb up than the deplition???
As for fri. nite you could try straight glucose polymers mixed with some pro powder. NOW makes a product called CARBO POWDER. It's 100% pure maltodextrin. Parillo also makes one. One of these should get the ball rolling.

Thumbs up TKD...

Or...you could just forget about the 'carb-up's's and do a 'TKD'.
