Default challenge 1 results better late than never

Howdy all BFL'ers. I just dropped in to share my amazing results from my BFL challenge 1. I finished June 22nd with a great 20 MAS. Took all my measurements Sunday morning and OMG!!!! I'm a believer. I mean I thought I was a beliver before but holy cow I'm an even bigger believer now. Drumroll please.........

lost 21 pounds,23.5 inches, & 6% BF. That means total since I started LC'ing I am down 41 pounds (actually 44 now as these measurements were taken over a week ago ) 29.5 inches & 12% BF. I have dropped from a size 26 jean to an 18 & Can now wear tops in the regular size department and not the plus size. THese measurements make me want to continue..... So jumped up Monday mornig for day 1 of Challenge 2. I know they say you should take a week of rest in between challenges but I just can't. I am the type of person if I take a whole week and not do anything it will be all that much harder to get back on. I am the QUEEN of procrastination. So rather than risk not geting back in the game I started challenge 2 but with lighter weights.

I can't tell you how amazing I feel. My mind is in the perfect place and my body is slowly catching up to it. I love my new WOE I take it with me wherever I go. I can't rember ever turning away ice cream or other treats yet I do it all the time now. I tote my weights with me everywhere too. My co-workers make fun of me as I am the one dragging my suitcase down the hotel hallways on business trips because it's full of weights. But it doesn't faze me. I look forward to my workouts and hate it when I miss them. I can't believe how much lifting has helped the overall shape of my body. I thought I would have "thunder thighs" forever but thanks to BFL my things are slimming right down wth the rest of me. (and the cellulite is almost gone too! )

Don't get me wrong ladies & gentlemn I have had my share of tough times, struggles and cheats but I always managed to keep my workouts a priority. This is what has truly helped me to see such great results. No matter how bad I had let myself get food wise I always got up early and did my workout. It gave me motivation to keep going. Once I did my workout and felt that great high I was always motivated to get back on that LC wagon and coninue my weight loss journey.

Ok, so I've talked your ears off long enought but I just wanted those of you out there who are riding the fence thinking about BFL all I can say is do it! Do it for 12 weeks and see how you look & feel. If you don't feel incredible and look tons better then before maybe it isn't for you. But just try. You will never know how good it feels to be strong unless you try. OK off my soapbox now.

Hope you are all having great success, stay safe this holiday and bring those LC snack with you to all the family outings. Makes it much easier to stay on track. THanks for listening and supporting me. I truly could not have gotten this far without each and everyone of you.

Take Care
Messy

Thank you sooooooooooooooooo much for posting this. it's always inspiring reading about other people's success. It's more inspiring to feel their enthusiasm, new zest for life and all that positive energy.

Congratulations on a job well done...physically and mentally.

(LOL - I bet you doubled your exercise calories burned just by lugging those weights around when you travelled. Now that's determination!!!)

Just poking around in the BFL forum and noticed your post from days ago.

You obviously don't need my thumbs up, judging by your enthusiasm, but wanted to say it anyway . . .

WAY TO GO!
