I'm not impressed with the snacks, but they are better. I agree with Mike, snacks aren't part of a good eating plan.

I want to eat something, enjoy it, and then not think about food for hours and hours.

If you're eating meals that have enough protein and fats to be satiating, and are low enough in carbs that you don't get a blood sugar spike (and subsequent crash), you really shouldn't need any snacks at all most of the time.

But look at what he chooses for snacks - I have no doubt at all that his meals are also very low in protein and fats, and high in carbs.

No wonder he needs snacks.

I recently saw a video where a woman said "we were told to eat six times a day to keep our energy up. Everything was low fat and rice cakes and chicken breasts."

Now she's on red meat carnivore and loving it, so gosh... just think of what people are missing!
