Default Heartburn solution (maybe)

I figured out last night my meds are causing heartburn (metformin). So I looked around and saw some people saying ginger helps. I get these "ginger dots" (just ginger in frozen in small cubes for cooking) and popped one in my mouth and let it thaw and swallow the bits as they came loose from the frozen square. It worked! I was able to sleep flat on my bed last night without any issue. First time I could sleep flat without pain for weeks!

I think it made that sphincter muscle slam shut. :-) I hope it continues to work.

Glad you found a solution. GERD leads to esophageal cancer. Stepfather died of it.

Also, a keto cooking show host dumped his gi meds for apple cider vinegar.

The stomach decreases in acid as we age. ACV helps restore acid level.

Thanks for sharing your solution....

Nancy,
I found these little Lozengers called Gin-Gins.
My DH's cancer nurse turned him on to these. These are supposed to help with Nausea.
I found them online at Wallyworld, but I guess they sell them in some stores.
