roasted nori is awesome! I just discovered this as a snack possibility (as opposed to wrapping sushi) a couple weeks ago and thought about posting. Actually the version I found was fried. I got them at an Asian market from the snack section. One was flavored wasabi and the other spicy. A generous serving was 1 net carb (3 total, 2 fiber) I was disappointed to discover the wasabi version has wheat in it. I had only checked the ingredients on the spicy version. Luckily I had no reaction. the hot version was just nori, salt and chili spices.
These are crispy and delicious, with a slight "sea" taste. I have eaten them plain, but also made a spead of spicy tuna (raw sushi grade tuna, mayo and hot sauce) garnished with wasabi and pickled ginger.
the brand I have is called Tao Kae Noi . http://grocerythai.com/crispy-seaweed-snack-p-909.html
