Well, angelpie seems to be getting results after a month. Hang in there... maybe I'm seeing results fast because I have more chub than you!

Quick update here:

I'm down an inch on my hips! Yippee!! I hadn't lost there in two weeks.

Everything is looking smoother!

I'm sticking with CLA.

Actually, my results aren't after taking CLA for a month, they're after taking CLA for a WEEK...with a month of no weight loss preceding that week...

No big changes in measurements (a 1/4 inch here and there), but everything is looking smoother!

Even better then AP!

From what I read, the stuff can work really well for most people, but not all. If I were you, Abby, I'd keep on taking it for a while longer.

I don't know if this will help. I've been taking CLA, 2000mgs once a day since April 20th. I also do Curves three days a week and walk 5 miles a day. I've lost 5.5 inches in my waist, 4.25 in my abdomen and 7 inches in my hips. I feel great, have a good amount of energy...I haven't read this whole post, is this what people are getting?

Well, here I am joining your experiment, a little late in the game.

I went to GNC today to talk with them about my thyroid issue and a bottle of CLA called to me. It jumped into my hand and promised to make a difference in my belly (the last holdout in my WL journey). Since I always believe talking bottles (ok, I actually read this whole thread over the last couple of days and was thinking about it anyway!), I bought it and started taking it today.

The girl at GNC said it might take a month of taking 3-5 x 1000 mg a day consistently to see results. I am hoping to see something faster than that but have a month's supply and faith that this will work.

I am heading to the gym after work today with my new workout buddy from the office. I figured if I gave someone a ride to the gym I would be much more inclined to go!

Best of luck to all, Julie

I'm always hopeful about these things... I was really impressed with everyone's progress using CLA in this thread.

I'll do measurements tomorrow morning when I get up.

I got my CLA order yesterday, and have started taking them today. However, I'm trying not to measure more than once a week because I have slightly obsessive issues with it, but I'll let you know intermittently if there's any improvement

Just playing catch-up with the posts tonight and I'm getting excited. Today was payday, so I plan to get some CLA tomorrow. I know I need to do something, as I can't seem to get my weight to move much and am gaining/losing that same 2 lbs.

Will (hopefully) post my measurements tomorrow and get started right away.

I can't seem to sleep tonight, so I thought I'd go ahead and post my measurements. One thing for sure--it's scary looking at myself!! Someone mentioned a jelly belly; well I have two of them. It looks as though I'm wearing two tires around my middle. Yuck.

Waist: 35 "
Aprrox. 2.5" below belly button: 40"
Right at belly button: 37"

How often is everyone posting their results? I noticed a few saying that they'd wait for a week to update, is everyone following that plan?

Hey Ladibug... I'm doing a once a week check on my stats. I was looking every day but I've calmed down a bit now.

I am measuring weekly, every Sunday and I mentioned a jelly belly. That is what I have and I want rid of it!

I just started exercising again and hope this will help get rid of the fat faster.

I started with my CLA yesterday and noticed that I had more energy for my workout last night. Who knows if it's directly attributable or a placebo effect, but who really cares? I'll take it!

I was going to measure this morning but couldn't find the tape. Will look when I get home tonight.

Have a good Friday all!

Julie
