Default Karen - PLEASE HELP (cheesecake question)

I am a low carber and found you via google and you have probably done what I'm about to ask?

I LOVE beachgirl's pumpkin (I leave out the white chocolate) cheesecake. When I follow the instructions to a T, it comes out SO yummy. I serve it all the time and nobody ever thinks it's low carb.

Today I want to add a nut crust. Will that work if I use the water bath? SHould I cook the crust for 10-12 minutes first like I would a graham cracker crust? Do I really NEED to do the water bath at all (I have a top notch heavy gauge springfrom pan)? Or, should I keep this recipe w/o the crust? Everybody loves it anyway. It's for a party tomorrow at 4.

I am SO glad to find you and hope you don't mind answering my specific questions. I LOVE to cook and low-carbing has been a whole new adventure for me.

Only if you are using unroasted nuts.

Depends on the oven temperature and the texture you want. Or, if it ain't broke, dont fix it.

If it's working for you, keep doing what you're doing.
