Default ate too many carbs today, help!

okay, i know I should not have, but I ate a piece of low carb brownie from the supermarket, and I am only on phase 2! So I ate 9 carbs in one sitting...and this does not include the sugar alcohols...( long debate about that one) ...and I cannot stop thinking about this. How come I can find various charts saying this activity burns this many calories...but I cannot find a chart showing expenditure of carbs? Has anyone tried these things..entemmens low carb line? What I have to go back to phase 1, induction now? Thanks everybody!

Default if you slip, and you have time, do some exercise

4 calories= 1 gram carb. I have been slipping a LOT latly... been getting the almost to goal blue's. I have found when I do slip... I totally the carbs. then x by 4 . That is the amount of calories you want to burn within 30 minutes to 3 hours after you "slip". I found that this works great( and makes you not get that sugar high,, then sleepy mood). Keep in mind always do at least 20 minutes nonstop activity. I find this helped me a lot, also got me out of plateau, more then once.
I am struggling with the sugar alcohols. My body can not handle them, and for some reason I have been craving badly.
I have had those brownies also( twice in one week!!!) I think you might want to go to phase 1 for a few days if you find that it really effected you. But if it only effected a little then I would just stick it out.
Hope this helps

Exactly.. how many of us have just thrown in the towel and given up because we've fallen off track for one day or one meal? That's stinkin' thinking! As my endo says, don't freak out over one bad day... just make better choices the next time!G
Good luck and good eating!

Like you said "you can't stop thinking about it". The problem in mostly in the mind. It was just a few carbs. It's not like you put on 18lbs this week.
You don't fail by falling down, you fail by not getting back up.
Spend ten minutes with your eyes closed thinking of nothing but success's absolutely not letting anything negative slip in. If a negative does slip in keep going until you've spent ten minutes thinking only about genuine success's and then watch what happens...you'll be so pumped you wont' hardly be able to control yourself and you'll lose, lose, lose!
