Default Exploratorium: The Science of Cooking

This is the website for a museum in San Fransisco. Presumably because they're closed, they've done a lot of interesting things on their website. Check out this online exhibit:

The Science of Cooking

...just stay away from the candy and bread.

Hello and welcome back! I remember you.

I happened upon that website doing a search on what the actual solidifying cooking temp is for egg whites. (It's around 145-150 F, if anyone's curious)

Exploratorium sounds like a place in Toronto called the Ontario Science Centre. Everyone who grew up around Tee-Oh has been there on a field trip or three.

I'm thrilled that you remember me! It's been a while.

Yes, your Science Centre does seem very similar to the Exploratorium. I wish the Exploratorium had a planetarium though... we have to go to the California Academy of Sciences (another wonderful science museum in another part of the city) for that. https://www.calacademy.org/

But back on topic... the info about the egg white temperature is great to know. My coworker in the kitchen has been insisting that it's 140F, and her scrambled eggs look soupy.
