Default iced creamy fruity shake

This is similar to another post.. "carb free whipped treat"

In a blender mix some ice cubes, heavy cream, water and crystal lite to taste. I just bought some pineapple orange stuff. Blend, and you've got 2 or 3 carb smoothie, great for the hot weather. Add some plain whey powder if you want protein.

Thumbs up creamy shake

Thank you Meg, for the great shake suggestion! First day atkins here and I was already considering quitting, since it's 103 degrees out, I've drank about all the h2o and crystal light I can fathom, and just got back from getting ice creams for the kids. I don't feel so deprived, now. Thanks!

It's a sorry substitue for real frozen berries mixed with iced tea (unsweetened) and cream, with stevia and then a pinch of lemon coolaid for tartnes............. but when you're avoiding carbs and fructose completely it tastes great, and can be the "saving thing" that keeps you on your diet that day.

NOw, if only I could find a substitute for bananna's blended with milk and vanilla I bougt bananna extract but everything I made ended up tasting like that medicine I used to get perscribed as a kid when sick.

take care, I'm glad you liked the recipe!
