Dr. Westman wrote: "Just released! Thanks to the team at http://GuidelineCentral.com, here is a pocket guide for health care practitioners on low carb diets, carb counting, and how to take people OFF medications (de-prescribing). https://www.instagram.com/p/B5lKx7t...d=1elklj12lpqyt …"

Co-authors with Dr. Eric Westman, Duke's own Dr. William Yancy, Dr. Mark Cucuzzella, and Dr Lydia Bazzano.

On-line, I registered (consumer or student is a profession), and found the digital version is free. I could not find where or how to buy the print edition but you can read it all on-line. There is a "print" button at top of the on-line too, but it doesn't work.

Dr. Westman is aware the Hard Copy Print Pocket Guide not yet available...but stay tuned, it is in the works.

Today's LowCarbMD podcast with Dr. Mark Cucuzzella about his role writing the De-Prescribing section, the risks of not understanding the power of LC, how insulin works, getting sugar out of his hospital, etc. This guideline was two years in the making. http://lowcarbmd.com/episode-74-mark-cucuzzella

Still not available to Print, or in Print. The whole guide stays in your "library" to read in the app, or on-line you could screen shot a section of particular interest, maybe the carb levels for the different diets or food list?

Janet, is there anything for post menopausal women?

I did a Google search on recommended diets for post menopausal women and they are all high carb/high fiber.

Does Dr Westman have a special research group of post-menopausal women?
