Talking Pancakes anyone?

I was happily reading through these threads, when suddenly the words, Yummy Pancakes came up. I want some. Has anyone got a recipe that Australians can understand.

I can just see it, Yum pancakes with, cream and strawberry syrup and grated chocolate. Sounds too bad to be good. I've got a strawberry syrup recipe if anyone wants it.

STRAWBERRY SYRUP.

Boil water and splenda ratio is about 1 cup of splenda to 1/2 cup of water.

Add strawberries and stir. when it's all well mixed. It's ready to go.

1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 cup heavy cream (or coconut milk)
1/2 cup water (approximate)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of sweetener
Mix ingredients and cook in melted butter on a griddle just as you would regular pancakes. Entire recipe has 6g carbohydrates and 1g fibre.

Pecan Pancakes
4 large eggs

1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. heavy cream

Pinch(literally) of double action baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or to taste)
Break eggs into blender and pulse until foamy. Add pecans and pulse for 60-90 seconds. Add baking soda to water and stir then pour into blender and pulse again. Mixture will bubble. Add remaining ingredients and blend. Pour onto hot griddle and turn after bubbles form on top of pancake. Makes 8 large pancakes. Serve with cream cheese or sugar free syrup.

Hi Crystall, bloom hit the nail on the head. I buy all of the stuff either at the local Coles or my health food store.
