Default How I'm doing...

For those just starting BFL or thinking about it...I thought I post my Week 1 vs. Week 4 stats for you! I was surprised and this is great motivation to keep going!

Stats from before BFL week 1:

Weight 156.5
Upper arm: R:11 3/4" L: 11 5/8"
Chest: 36.5
Bust: 38 1/4
Waist: 31.5
Hips: 39 3/4
Thighs: R: 23 L: 23
Calves: R: 15 1/4 L: 15 3/8
%body fat 26.6% (ugh!)
LBM: 114 lbs
Fat mass: 41.3 lbs

Stats after Week 4:

Weight: 152
Upper arm: R:12 1/4" L: 12 1/4"
Chest: 35.5
Bust: 38
Waist: 30 3/8
Hips: 38 1/4
Thighs: R: 22 5/8 L: 22 5/8
Calves: R: 15 1/4 L: 15 1/4
%body fat 24.2% (ugh!)
LBM: 115.2 lbs
Fat mass: 36.8 lbs

So basically I've lost 4 lbs of fat and gained a pound of lean mass - apparently all in my biceps!

Keep it up everyone! This is a great program!

Fantastic results, Lisa! Can't wait to see what week 8 brings you. It truly is amazing how quickly you see the transformation begining - I bet those pushups arent that far off in your future!

Funny you mention the pushups...I did 5 last night! Had to quit because my ab muscle kind of "twinged" which means STOP!

Lisa,

Wow, I'm impressed with your 4 week results. Feels good to be getting up early & getting the workouts done before the rest of the day, huh?

Today is my Day 15, I couldn't believe how easy it was to roll out at 5:30 AM!

I can hardly wait for your 8 week results!

Default Ruth - I'm impressed!

You and Nat are the 5:30 girls! I haven't been able to drag myself out of bed that early since the days got shorter. I think my old bod is very sensitive to light. From the end of August until mid-October I was able to get up and run at 5:15...every since daylight savings I haven't been able to get up at all.

I usually have my husband drop me off at the gym in another building near my work...do my workout, hit the showers if its a cardio day (otherwise I shower at home before I go) and then run to work. Fortunately, my "boss" (also a good friend) is very understanding given that she used to manage a gym at the Y and we both put a premium on healthy lifestyle stuff.

I can't wait for my 8 week results either
...let me know how you are doing too! I check my gym log and journal almost daily!

Lisa,

Thanks for posting your stats. It is so exciting doing this program and having people who have paved the way, so to speak, by starting earlier, share the awsome results they are enjoying already.

Way to go girl.

I can't wait to compare my four week stats with how I started.

See ya,
Bobbie

It was fun to get down to my skivvies and pull out the measuring take...though a bit on the cold side!

I love the program...the reward of feeling better and so much stronger is wonderful. I never want marshmallow muscles again!!!
