Default Hypothalamus Over-Activation

Can I get opinions on this from our FMers? Can anyone remember stressing themselves to this point? I know I certainly can...FM kicked in shortly after my divorce. I realize this is just one dr's theory, but it sort of rings true.

Dr. Teitelbaum, a CFS/FMS specialist, has a really good book called End Fatigue and he talks about suppression of the hypothalamus from severe stress. You might find it really enlightening.

His book completely changed my life.
