Question How many attempts did it take for you?

Just wondering, how many attempts it took everyone to have a successful, cheat-free Induction? I'm getting ready for my third try, and really trying hard to remain convinced that it's all worth it...

hopeful,
iwent a good week and decided to have some icecream. i like milk or icecream. the carb blockers will not block sugar carbs only the starch carbs, so maybe i better get off the icecream and stick to the milk using the carb blockers. if it isnt sweets your cheating with maybe you can use them too. i get mine from walmart. blue bottle/carb cutters. i dont know alot about them but i have lost 3 or 4 lbs in three weeks. i drink a lot of diet drinks. from what ive read i guess i need to stop that too. good luck aimie

One time if you don't count a carbolite bar.

IT IS SO WORTH IT!

Think about it. You will be able to eat whenever you are hungry and never feel guilty or bloated again!

You can eat satisfyingly if you plan ahead a little!

You can do this!

Default It depends on your motivation..

It can take 24-48 hours to get into ketosis really well for me.. but then there have been times.. like this particular time.. that I have tried to push the envelope with eating the tastey low carb foods and get into ketosis and found that i am not doing so good. I have in times past... just told myself.. it will only take.. one day out of my life.. to get going.. checking ketone levels for me was a hobby once in.. drinking water.. eating protein.. salads.. and testing testing testing. as long as I saw that strip pink.. I was happy.. and felt at ease. I could keep going knowing that the cravings will go away as long as I see pink.. (for me) and that I am metabolizing my thighs.. I am using what I have stored to get through the day. That was motivation to keep going.. and not to cheat.. I have and I am not sure if its recommended or not by members of this forum.. gone to carbohydrate zero for one day.. meaning noooooooo carbs at all.. only protein .. for one day.. tons of water tons and tons of it.. and once in ketosis.. added carbs. I came in fast.. and stayed. I am doing that as of today since I have spent the week working on doing it with carbs included in my diet and found today that I am 1. not losing.. and 2. not in ketosis.. It seems to jump start me.

Just a thought...

Just one try - but I was sooo ready to do this. I think that is the key you need to be ready and be prepared.

When you are going to cheat grab something to eat that is legal like cheese or celery with cream cheese or SF jello, drink a large bottle of water.

This is a detox time so it is going to be hard, you have to be ready.
