WOW Teri, that is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is my ultimate goal as well, is to be able to run a 5k. I was thinking of making it around May or so. To hear of your success is very motivating to me!! Thank you.
I ran for the very first time in my life - to be running for exercise, and on purpose - yesterday. I run for one minute and walk for 2 minutes. I never once cut my 1 minute short. So that was my proud moment of the day.
Thanks for responding to my post. I would love to continue to hear about your running.

Ran twice last week: Tues & Sat
Will only run once this week : Sat

The holiday madness is upon me! Time seems to get shorter at this time of year.

Did not run at all last week, missed the planned Sat run as was hungover (good time - bad girl!!), such a bad girl that I cancelled Fri night!

I currently have a little bit of a cold. Did a fast walk last night, and plan to walk or run Thrus night. Sat is a hilly 5k walk/run.

No run or walk on Thurs, did the hilly 5K walk on Sat. It was a beatiful morning but very cold. Did 5K in about an hour, there was no way I could have ever run this - the first 1.5 miles went uphill.

Will be signing up for a 5K on 1/8/05, five weeks from now. My goal is to run the whole program, no walking allowed! Training will be a challenge as I am still recovering from my cold, have tons of holiday obligations, and my daughter is in town.

Gym log is now on page 4 - not a good sign. Recently bought Firm "killer cardio" and am awaiting "ulitmate new york body challenge". I am resolved to start back with my workout program this weekend, as I'll be home alone.
