Ok, spine surgery didn't go so well and I am slowly making my way back to exercising 1.5 to 2 hours a day. I miss my Yoga! I was told not to walk this week and it makes me angry! I usually walk my dogs 1/2 an hour every day but my back is getting worse so doc told me to stop. I am allowed to swim or ride a bike. I have to get up at 4am to get to the pool by 5:30 to do 45 minutes of laps before work. I have actually been doing it! Then there are the pt exercises.

Anyway, the point is that I want to keep from getting really discouraged and bitter that I am kinda crippled now and I can't just do what I want. I can't even walk normally and it makes me pissed off at the universe. I can barely walk down the hall at work let alone do my 5 mile hikes. Oh well, I WILL get better.

Wow, that was really whiney. I am grateful that I can walk down the hall, that I have a job I can physically manage, that there is a pool that opens at 0530 and that I have the money to go there. The job opening came up just when I got cleared to go back to work so I am really grateful.

I'm just afraid the blood tests I'm getting today will show an infection and I will have to start all over again. I am strong tho, and I will be able to do it.
