Just wondering if anyone here has vitiligo and thyroid problems.

Vitiligo showed up when I was around 12 and thyroid nodulues (sp?) showed up on an ultrasound three years ago. Just last week the ultrasound showed on the the nodulues had grown by a centimeter. Blood work not back yet so I can't say it I do have low/high tsh.

I have been researching thyroid disease and vitiligo is mentioned to be a possible link to thyroid complications.

Tomorrow I am making an appointment to get a biopsy of the growing nodulue. Won't know more until after that test is done.

Those of you wondering what is vitiligo; it is a skin color disorder that causes white spots on the skin. It may be an autoimmune disorder. Not sure, research unclear.

I developed vit at the age of 30 approx. 8 yrs ago. Just recently diagnosed Hashi. Both auto-immune. No one in my family has either as far back as we know. I also have two nodules(one on each lobe) and the right also has several smaller nodes. I am also having a biopsy next month.
