Default Pineapple juice in a marinade?

We have a small restaurant chain down here called Novroskys... they have a terrific grilled chicken, and the cook told me they marinade it in soy sauce and pineapple juice.

What I'm wondering is, how much does a marinade affect carb count?

Do they make a sauce of it? Or is the meat pretty dry? If it's in sauce, then you're probably eating more carbs than if it is dry.

Thanks, Anthony and Nancy - it isn't a sauce, they just let it marinate a while, then cook it on a grill, but it is soooo good.

If that's the case I probably wouldn't worry about it too much.

Thanks, freckles I didn't think it'd be too bad.
