Default Hopefully-This-Won't-Kill-Me Exercise Log

Exercise if a 4-letter word in my book. I've never liked it, maybe because I try to do things that are counter-productive to what works for me. I have hip bursitis and now some knee problems that are slowing me down.

Walking, jogging and biking are too hard on all my ailments so I haven't been able to do those. If I could afford a recumbent bike, I'd get one of those since the doctor has recommended it for me, but can't at this time.

So my exercise right now is yoga and strength exercises using Wii Fit. I also occasionally watch the Shimmy program on the TV and follow that (bellydancing). I plan to take up swimming soon at a local indoor pool.

Anyway, I thought if I started a fitness journal, it'd help me to keep exercising.

Here goes nothing!

1/3 - yoga/strength training 30 mins
1/4 - walking 10 minutes

Exercised again tonight. Did extra step aerobics on the Wii Fit. Felt like a good working although my knee is hurting a bit more. But not debilitating or anything.

Proud of myself, 2 times in 1 week (yesterday's walking probably doesn't count as it was to and from dinner and to and from the movies, back to the parking garages. Still walking, just not a ton of it.)

1/5 - yoga/strength training/balance exercises 35 mins

Yeah, we can see how far. I got on the exercising! Lol

Well I'm back to it. Slowly.

Walked 1.15 miles tonight at a 3mph clip. About 23 mins.

First exercise I've done in forever, not counting slow walking grocery shopping. Very happy to start back and I didn't die!

Okay let's just agree that I suck at exercise. This fibromyalgia is so painful most the time that I don't do any. But I'm changing that. I bought a bike. . Plus went to the pool this week.

Water jogging 15 mins
Swimming, treading water exercises, 45-60 mins
Bike riding 20+ mins
