Hey all!

Michele, Ellen and I all had a lovely lunch. We all tried the lo-carb crust pizzas they have there, and they were fantastic! Check Il Fornello's website to find the exact carb count.

I am happy I will be seeing both of you on Sept 20 with LittleAnne!

Hope you had a good day shopping!

Mary

Hi Mary, Michele, and Ellen, Glad you had a good lunch. Much better than the cardboard bunless hamburger I had in the church parking lot.

Sorry I won't be able to join on the 20th -- I'm heading off on vacation. But I intend to be there with bells on for the next one!

Hi Mary - Thanks for meeting for lunch. The food and company was awesome, as usual.

Mom and I had a great day shopping. We stopped at the Low Carb Centre at Yonge and Davisville. Then we got groceries and other boring stuff.

Louise - Sorry you couldn't make it. Have a wonderful vacation and we'll see you next time.

Hi Dee

You might want to post in the Exercise forum too. I don't exercise except for walking part way to work.

Default Hey, I'm from Toronto!

I would love to meet some low carb buddies! I live and work in the Beach...a great place for picnics, but not at this time of year! Brrrrrrr! But we have great restaurants, too! Let's plan on something soon so I can meet all of you! Or maybe we can get Chefmichel to cook for us? Whaddya say, Michelle?

Default Ok, Ok, I get it!

Thanks Michelle...Pass the buck, why don't ya? You know, I DO happen to have a big house and would looooove to host a POTLUCK there anytime...unless of course, I can convince a certain chef to cook and we all contribute, say, some unknown amount of money?

Seriously, I will definitely do the hosting thing! Cath

Default Anyone In?

Hey, whoever's in for a potluck dinner at my place, post to my journal and let me know...the date will be the hardest thing, but I know I can do a mid-week thing, for sure...just tell me you're interested! Cath

Hi Cath

We can start a new thread, if you would like...

I like potlucks, but right now I am swamped with school assignments and I work four evenings per week. Maybe in November?

Can I invite everyone on this thread??

Weekends are pretty good for me, too.

Mary

Hey all,
I'm happy to organize/contribute the food part of the pot luck, maybe you'd like to make suggestions about what you want me to make. Maybe you'd like to learn how to cook something?
I'd entertain a pay $10 to the pot and re-imburse groceries or something like that. Just let me know. An evening thing works better for me but I do have some weekends in November free, namely the 6th, 7th, 27th.
Sunday the 7th works best for me.
If you're interested we can make it a learn/cook together kind of thing depending on Cath's kitchen layout.
Just let me know if you start a new thread.
Michelle

Default How do I start a new thread?

Help! We should start a new thread to get all involved...yes, invite whomever, I can probably accomadate up to 12 -15 comfortably and after that we'd have to do a "sit wherever you can find a spot" I usually have 25 people for dinner at Christmas and other holidays, so the more the merrier!!

Someone start a thread and let me know!

A learn to cook low carb sounds like fun! My kitchen is pretty big with an island in the middle and seats to sit around...weeknights, especially Wednesdays work well for me, weekends...well, I have 4 kids, if you get my drift!

Cath
