I just tried this recipe, the revised version with butter and bits of dark choc, and it was very nice. Reminds me of the quick, single serving microwave chocolate cakes you buy in the cake isle only without all the sugar.. I figured it's around 3 carbs.
Thanks!

Oh my goodness, I just tried this and I was in chocolate pudding heaven! Delicious

I used 1 tbs xylitol and 1 packet of splenda and it was perfectly sweet. Really liked the sound of the molten choc so added a tsp unsalted butter and a square of lindt 85% - 45 secs. Perfect! Mmm mm

This sounds wonderful. I just picked up some black cherry torani...and some almond roca torani. I think I shall experiment tonight!

Well, my microwave must be about the strength of an easy bake oven, hee hee. It took close to 2 minutes, but this is nice! Big too, and very yum - thank you!

I used Almond Roca flavored Torani, and it seemed a tiny bit undersweet, so I sprinkled the top with a packet of Ideal sweetener, and it's perfect.

The chocolate center didn't really do as much for me as I thought it would - I will save those carbs next time. I'm estimating the overall carb count around...6? For one with no added extra chocolate. Does that sound about right?

Made the original recipe but used three packets of splenda and added two tablespoons heavy cream. Good!

Default Holy Wow

Hello,

I actually joined this forum just to thank you for this treat... well that and all the other great info I've picked up so thanks to all.

After making the original recipe more times than I should probably admit, I've come up with a variation that others may like.

2 Heaping Tbsp PB2 -or- Protein Plus Peanut Flour
2 Tbsp Oat Fiber
1 Tbsp Erythritol (I should try it w/o this given the 2T of syrup but keep forgetting as I make this on autopilot now)
2 Tbsp Starbucks SF Vanilla Syrup OR Starbucks SF Cinnamon Dolce
1 Egg (I use Eggbeaters)
Optional: Bit of chocolate, nuts, or spoon of nut butter in the middle

40 seconds in my micro makes the middle nice and gooey.

Anyway, thanks again for a quick and easy treat
