That black-and-white photo of you is worthy of a frame - in my home! What a great picture.

Awesome job. You must be incredibly proud of yourself. A very moving story, indeed.

Well, I have to say, you were not "ugly" as an overweight person...really cute, actually! But you look absolutely amazingly HOT now! If only I were 25 years younger...did I say that??

OH - MY - GOD

you have my congratulations, from Paris (france!)

I read your story (yes I did! the full story!!) and I wanted to tell you that your story is so true and beautiful.
You are a smart person, and I hope other overweight people will take you as en example and true inspiration to lose weight.

I always argue with people trying to find excuses why they CANT lose weight "that's not for me", etc etc "that's too hard" "oh you're lucky you're thin"...

that's not about luck (except in some cases)
and yes it's hard
but everybody can do it
you have to have the courage, the motivation,
and be SMART.

congratulations again !

ps) I know what you mean about still beeing the same inside, whereas you are not obese anymore. I used to be a little bit fat when I was younger, what made me socially appart from everybody else, and now that i'm thin, I still see myself the same way

We have to work on it, read books, work on our self confidence.. develop our spirituality, I'd love to have a coach to help me have more self confidence for example !

good luck
marie

I am reading this almost a year after the original post. What an INCREDIBLE story. You have done a truly amazing thing Jesse. And sharing your story in such intimate detail is very, very inspiring. I know I can relate to most of your story and realize that there is hope for me yet. Thank you so much for sharing.
